Vehicle Painter

Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established Auckland based auto repair company and become a part of a great team.   Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:  removing rough spots on vehicle panels  sanding surfaces by hand and with power sanders  masking areas not to be painted with tape and paper  colour matching and mixing paints to match paint shades, and selecting pre-mixed paint  applying primer and finishing coats using spray-guns, and sanding surfaces between coats  touching up paintwork and applying polish to vehicles  removing masking papers, and waxing and polishing finished paintwork  painting signs and artwork on vehicles  treating vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job  Relevant Level 4 qualification is required; OR  Minimum of 3+ years experience in automotive mechanical & electrical and vehicle servicing/repairs  Able to work independently as well as a team  Working under pressure  Be physically fit Vacancy: 2 Employment type: Permanent full time Minimum hours per week: 30 Hours Maximum hours per week: 40 Hours Minimum hourly rate (low salary range): $29.66/hour Maximum hourly rate (high salary range): $30/hour Pay frequent: Monthly
