Vehicle Mechanic

Starchch Ltd, is in Christchurch.
We are now looking for multiple experienced Vehicle Mechanics to join us.
This is a full-time role requiring at least 30 hours per week.
This role is to repair, maintain and test motor vehicles and related mechanical components.
Tasks include: Conduct the task of detecting and diagnosing mechanical issues in engines and vehicle parts.
Conduct the task of dismantling  and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other vehicle components, as well as checking parts.
Conduct the task of repairing  and replacing faulty parts and reassembling mechanical components with reference to the service manuals.
Conduct the task to perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.
Conduct the task of reassembling  engines and parts after being repaired Conduct the task of testing  and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance Conduct the task of diagnosing and testing  parts with the assistance of electronic devices.
The successful candidate must have · At least three years of relevant experience or a relevant qualification (equivalent to NZ L4 Certificate).
· Good work attitude and good communication skills · Strong motivation · Physical fitness and could handle the heavy workload · Quality workmanship and eye for detail · Strong dedication to health and workplace safety · Excellent interpersonal skills to work with other team members.
· Strong ability to work independently
