The company's image capture and analysis platform, which includes fixed and mobile license plate reader cameras driven by machine learning and artificial intelligence, provides vehicle location data to public safety and commercial customers. Acquired in January 2019, this new product offering will expand the Motorola Solutions command center software portfolio with the largest shareable database of vehicle location information that can help shorten response times and improve the speed and accuracy of investigations.As a Vehicle Image & Intelligence Training Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams across delivery and R&D, including development, design and pre-sales to ensure the successful delivery of products offers that meet customer needs and business objectives.Job DescriptionThe Vehicle Image & Intelligence Training Manager is responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing the Vehicle Image & Intelligence organization's training programs. This includes identifying training needs, developing educational materials, coordinating and conducting training sessions, evaluating the effectiveness of training programs, and managing training expenses. The training manager ensures that the training provided aligns with the goals of the organization and helps employees enhance their skills and knowledge.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Oversee creation of all training material to confirm accuracy & standardization, as well as providing innovative ways to help our trainers teach users (to include in-person, on-demand,& webinar based training).Gather consistent & real time feedback from customers and internal personnel to ascertain the effectiveness of the training content and methods, and identify any areas that may require refinement.Establish effective communication and best practices with other departments within MSI to ensure the training team's efforts are aligned with the organization's broader objectives.Schedule & plan training sessions - Maintain training calendarCreate training metrics and guidelines that explain the value and success of the training teamUpdate/Understand Tableau dashboardsKeep training certifications up-to-date (IADLEST, CA Post, TCIC, etc.)Custodian of Records: Review and certify law enforcement records and provide a Certification of Custodian of Records document.Note: Candidate can reside anywhere in the US.#LI-MP2#LI-REMOTEBasic Requirements7+ years of professional experienceAND 3+ years of prior teaching or instructor experienceLegal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
