Employment Type: Part-Time, Permanent position.
Hours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 20 hours per week, on a rotating roster, including weekends from Monday - Sunday.
Wage Rate: $24.50 - $25 per hour

Valet Porters are often the face of our hotel by greeting our guests when the arrive at the hotel, and assisting guests with valet carparking.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Greeting guests at Reception and assisting with guest's luggage Attending to guest needs on arrival and departure Assisting guest's with valet car parking, safely managing guests' vehicles and ensuring a prompt return upon their request. Taking a proactive approach to cleaning the reception and public areas Provide information and assistance to guests regarding local attractions, restaurants, and activities. Deliver room service orders, and clear trays from guest rooms. Assisting with administrative tasks such as receiving and sorting mail. Assisting with other Front Office duties as required. Preferred Skills & Experience: At least 1 year experience in a similar hospitality role. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fit and able to lift heavy suitcases. Confident in their driving abilities i.e. parking guest cars. Ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles. *Full NZ drivers licence is required* Available to work mornings, evenings, and weekends. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
