This position is responsible for designing, implementing and communicating preservation policies to define what will be expected to achieve preservation (the duty to the future) while maintaining and promoting access (the duty to the present).At the Department of Internal Affairs, the work we do makes New Zealand a better place for those born here, and those new New Zealanders who have chosen to call this country home.The National Library sits within the Information and Knowledge Services branch, the Department's epicentre of information management, culture and heritage.
