The Role Fisher and Paykel ecosystems connect the virtual and physical worlds by intelligently integrating and automating the whole of home based on real-life scenarios, with remote management and control of appliances via smartphone, access to rich content, services and experiences, and connections with other ecosystems; providing integrated access to the many smart home devices and services around the world. About the role We're seeking a 12-month fixed-term UX/UI Designer based in Auckland, who will help evolve the interaction and experience design framework for Fisher & Paykel's connected ecosystems. Create consistent and unique user experiences across our ecosystems to support the connected ecosystem strategy, business objectives, customer needs, and to differentiate us in the market. Your main responsibilities include: Contribute to the F&P digital interaction and user experience design strategy. Produce interaction and interface design taking into account the end-to-end user experience/journey. Represent and advocate the interests of the customers and F&P's premium brand position and help to define, deliver, and support the brand requirements for Haier and DCS. Deliver effective, integrated, and frictionless user experience solutions that support the promises across all of our brands. Work collaboratively with the Senior UX Designer and product teams to create industry-leading, brand-consistent, and highly usable product and application interface experiences. About you 4-7 years of digital UX/UI design experience - ideally in a large-scale organisation. Proven experience and delivery of interaction design for mobile, web, and touch-based experiences (e.g. apps, tablets, kiosks) that have resulted in customer and commercial success/gains. Tertiary qualification in Design or Computer Science or related design, web, and/or mobile development discipline. Mandarin speaking is desirable.
