About the roleWe are seeking a UX Researcher to join our multidisciplinary Design Team. As the second researcher in the company, you will play a pivotal role in the creation of user-centred solutions by producing actionable insights. This is an intermediate role and you will receive mentorship and guidance as needed.
Key responsibilities Conduct usability tests, user interviews, surveys, tree testing, concept testing, and other research to find actionable insights based on our users' needs. Support our designers and researchers in enhancing research processes, templates, and toolkits. Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to identify and access research insights. Constantly advocate and communicate research to the broader company. Collaborate with Design and Product teams to define the research roadmap and planning. Produce research artefacts to influence and support decision-making.About youWe're looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic researcher. Our ideal candidate is an intermediate UX researcher or designer with research skills, or someone with social research experience (not necessarily within UX or Design) who is willing to migrate to UX. We're also looking for someone who is excited to upskill in evaluative research and processes by conducting projects that will impact product and design decisions.
You will need to have: at least 1 year of experience as a researcher excellent communication and collaboration skills an ability to tell stories that transform data into actionable insights familiarity with research process: from planning to executing, analysing, presenting, and documenting a research portfolio or a presentation of the research project you are most proud of, and what you are capable of doing.Nice to have but not essential Good knowledge of user-centred principles and applied methodologies. Proficiency in quantitative research. Proficiency in using tools such as Maze, UserTesting, Figma, survey tools, and Excel or SPSS.
