Details of the offer

Health and social care systems around the world face increasing pressures that we must help to address. In parallel, the emergence of artificial intelligence has potential to change how humans create, share and consume content. The User Experience (UX) Designer will play a crucial role in helping Streamliners respond to these new challenges and opportunities.
Who are we?
At Streamliners, we improve the health and wellbeing of people around the world by enabling:
Community – collaborating globally for local impact
Conversations – agreeing about what will work around here
Clarity – offering clear guidance at the point of care
We work with health and social care organisations throughout New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Our high-value, long-term relationships with these organisations are based around excellent content and systems, and the network effects that our unique platform and customer services support. We focus on helping these organisations to collaborate through networks such as the well-established HealthPathways Community.
Streamliners wishes to continue growing its membership base so that more people around the world can benefit from our services and we can, in turn, invest in scaling and developing our offering to optimise the value of our services to members.
We're looking for an experienced user experience designer to undertake user research and translate it into beautiful, responsive user interfaces that engage customers across devices, and speeds up information finding.
In this role you'll:
create responsive user interfaces that engage customers across devices and measurably speed information finding
translate business goals, product requirements, and research and testing insights into highly desirable, intuitive products
maintain and further develop the Streamliners design system to make future visual design changes efficient
collaborate with writers, product owners and developers throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Who are you?
We're interested in hearing from you if you have:
a bachelor's degree (or higher qualification), or equivalent experience in user-experience, product design, or information architecture, or a related field
proven experience in user-centred research and design
demonstrable experience working in a software product development environment, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve consensus, and to make clear, justified decisions.
You will also be someone who has a track record of interface design, in the IT and/or publishing sectors, as well as:
exceptional listening and thinking skills, and an ability to articulate complex topics simply and briefly
proficiency in visual design, wire-framing tools, storyboards, user flows, process flows and testing methods
an ability to present designs and sell solutions to various stakeholders, influencing them with data, logic, and empathy
a good understanding of user-system interactions, front-end development, and coding environments.
Knowledge of the healthcare sector would be an advantage.
What's in it for you?
We offer a central city location, flexible working conditions, learning and development opportunities, and a progressive and supportive work culture. Our workforce is diverse, and we are committed to promoting an environment of inclusion and belonging.
