Utilities & Process Improvement Engineer

As one of the largest breweries, The Pride produces some well-known beverages in New Zealand.
Supporting with bringing to life the best-known ways of optimisation, our Utilities & Process Improvement Engineer is key to the future state of the brewery.
You will use your engineering technical background while focusing on bringing stakeholders on a journey.
This role will see you nurture procedural and operational enhancements as they are rolled out bringing together your existing knowledge and skill in process improvement, analytical focus, and change management.
We're on a journey to create efficiencies across our Brewery and this role will be at the forefront as we embark on exciting new initiatives and projects.
In addition to operational initiatives, this role will also be heavily involved in sustainability projects supporting assessing how we can bring these objectives to life - our Brewery is more than just beer. While the Brewery operates 24 hours Monday – Friday, this role will work across daytime hours with some flexibility around working hours needed from time to time.
Some of the activities you'll be doing in the role:Delivering process improvement initiatives across the Brewery.Utilise data, existing standards, and best-known ways to support with project implementation and asset management.Upskill and support the brewery with New Zealand regulations.Liaise with relevant stakeholder groups to achieve the required outcomes.Support and coach the relevant teams in improvement process and foster technical understanding.Some of the skills you'll bring with you:Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Process Engineering).Stakeholder engagement and the ability to bring people on a journey.An analytical lens and strategic problem-solving.A curious and self-driven mindset.Ability to deliver to timelines.In return you will receive:Growth on tap with ongoing career and development opportunities.East Tamaki location with free parking, with a gym and Lion bar onsite.Bonus scheme and product allowance for our great Lion products.Training provided in our Lion processes, assets, lean methodologies and TPM.Join us in shaping the future of Lion and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality products to our consumers using cutting edge technology, all the while being a force for good one bottle at a time.
