About the role | Mo Te Turanga The purpose of this role is to maintain, operate and upgrade the stormwater network to ensure it functions to its optimal level. To do this you will:
Carry out maintenance activities, like clearing drains and stabilising water banks Responding to customer service requests Operating diggers and excavators Collect water and soil samples, and sending these for testing Keep accurate and up-to-date records, Analyse data and escalate data anomalies Ideally you will have knowledge of storm water maintenance and have taken soil and water samples before, key to your success will be that you are/ have:
Practical and have the ability to solve problems Strong customer service and communication skills Computer literate and with strong data entry skills A class 2 driver's licence Tracks and rollers certified Opportunity to do great things for the community Learning and career opportunities Supportive and collaborative team For more information about this position please contact us - h ******
