Our 3 Waters' Team ensures the continuous, efficient, and compliant operation of water and wastewater electrical systems, and your new role as our Utilities Officer - Electrical and Automation will play a key part in that team.
Your Role: You will enhance the reliability and functionality of our communications, alarming, and SCADA network.
Your responsibilities will include developing strategies for operational expansion and resilience, executing maintenance routines, assisting in electrical design and commissioning of new plants, identifying areas for improvement, implementing electrical changes, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
Managing contractors, providing reports, and offering support during emergencies are also part of your responsibilities.
Your expertise in maintaining industrial plants, along with current EWRB registration, fault-finding skills, and proficiency in PLC programming and SCADA systems, are essential for success in this role.
A strong work ethic, customer professionalism, and a full driver's license are also required.
