Be part of a supportive and passionate team Growth and Development opportunities Silverstream Depot, Upper Hutt, with work across the Wellington Region This is a full timeposition of 40 hours per weekThe remuneration is $41.00per hour (excluding KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.The groups outcomes are delivered through an innovative alliance, comprising people and resources from Wellington Water and Fulton Hogan.The opportunityThe purpose of this role is to maintain mechanical equipment and systems at water, wastewater and stormwater pump stations, reservoirs and bulk water distribution facilities across the Three Waters network and ensure they are installed, maintained and repaired to achieve a high level of reliability and performance.You will need to : Maintain the security & quality of the mechanical systems Provide guidance and leadership to the team Proactively meet Health & Safety requirements Ensure stakeholders are advised of environmental impacts Support the service delivery team with customer management and resource planning About youTo be successful in this role you will bring: You will have a relevant Mechanical Engineering/trade certificate with experience. Skilled welder and machine operator. Able to work reliably and independently on complex assignments. Full Class 1 and 2Driving Licenses.
