Our Opportunity Join our dynamic team at Quality Bakers Auckland as a Utilities Engineer / Technician. You will play a crucial role in providing high quality maintenance and repairs to equipment throughout the site services which include building maintenance, trade waste, silo maintenance, site security, improvement activities, and calibrations, with a strong emphasis on improving the operational effectiveness of the site.

This role is based at Quality Bakers Auckland - East Tamaki.

Shift Pattern : Tuesday to Saturday day shift (40 hours p / w)

Pay Rate : $32 p / h $38 p / h depending on experience

Key responsibilities include : Undertake scheduled planned maintenance tasks including planned activities Attend and resolve unplanned maintenance tasks including breakdowns on site services equipment (silos, doors, air conditioning, tradewaste) Assist with the improvement and the reliability of services and challenge the status quo Contribute to and help embed the development of maintenance procedures and processes Maintain documentation and ensure accuracy and up to date information is available Provide technical advice and assistance to the manufacturing team on issues relating to maintenance Drive factory quality and SHE standards to ensure and demonstrate continued and sustainable improvement in safety for the site Ensure all breakdowns are communicated in accordance to the escalation process Ensure all PM work is completed and compliant with C21 About You 2+ years engineering experience in a Engineering trades assistant role or similar Minor building repair and maintenance experience required Experience in Food and FMCG manufacturing desirable Certificates in Engineering / Electrical or equivalent Qualified mechanical certification desirable Machine / Welding qualification desirable What we offer You will be joining a driven team of professionals who genuinely enjoy working together, resulting in a highly collaborative environment.
