We're looking for a Used Vehicle National Fleet Coordinator to come join our Used Vehicle team at our Auckland branch.We are the industry leader in all things trucks and trailers - lease, rental, training and used vehicle sales. Since 1992 we have come a long way from a one-man-band to the team of over 289 we are today across NZ and Australia.The purpose of the role is to get our trucks & trailers ready for sale, by liaising between the Refurbishment teams and the Used Vehicle Sales team for priorities and decision making to maximise the recovery on each asset and the work required to have the vehicle at hand "Front fence ready" and while this role will be Auckland based, the view is to be at a national level.The key success to this role is to allow the UV Sales team to fully concentrate on selling and that they can be confident in the accuracy of the specification of each asset.Besides the 'must do's' of the role, the role requires a go-getter, with passion for the industry who has the capabilities to stretch into leading a process.Some main points of the role:Team Leadership and Reporting: Oversee the Used Vehicle Sales Yard Support person, ensuring effective reporting and coordination within the team.Fleet Management: Maintain a national overview of the fleet and collaborate with the National Fleet and Operations Manager to anticipate incoming vehicles for planning purposes.Dehire Process Understanding: Work closely with the dehire team to understand the dehire process and then determine each vehicle's path (Full Refurb, Part Refurb etc).Asset Documentation and Presentation: Ensure all assets have up-to-date and accurate specification sheets and photographs to assist with pricing and presentation, addressing any inconsistencies promptly.Coordination and Cost Management: Coordinate with the UV sales and refurbishment teams regarding the scope of work required for assets to reach saleable standards, ensuring consistency and cost-awareness.Customer Engagement: If the sales team is unavailable, handle vehicle inquiries from potential customers, and then pass them promptly onto the UV Sales team ensuring prompt responses or direct assistance.Yard and Vehicle Maintenance: Manage the appearance and functionality of the Used Vehicle Sales yard, ensuring vehicles are presented to a high standard and remain in operating order.Compliance and Servicing: Oversee the COF, RUC and servicing requirements of the for-sale fleet, maintaining compliance and optimal vehicle condition.Vehicle Movement and Coordination: Manage the movement of vehicles between sales yards and third-party suppliers, coordinating with the wider TR team to optimise logistics.Resource Planning and Tracking: Liaise with the UV Sales Team and maintenance team to plan for vehicle refurbishment, modification, and delivery, tracking costs, and coordinating mechanical spend.If this sounds like a challenge you are more than willing to put your hand up for, get in touch, this might just be the role for you.But what do you get out of working with TR Group?We are a team with a mentality of "OneTR" Working together to achieve excellent results for our customers.
