Urgent Care Doctors - Expressions of Interest at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley, Kenepuru Hospital/PoriruaNau mai, haere mai ki Te Whatu Ora - Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley District Location: Kenepuru Accident & Medical Clinic, Kenepuru Community Hospital
Contract: Regular or casual overnight work, or day/evening/weekend shifts on a casual basis
You must be currently based in New Zealand. We are looking for Urgent Care trained doctors or doctors with equivalent experience to join our highly skilled, vibrant team in Porirua, at Kenepuru Accident and Medical Clinic based at Kenepuru Hospital.
The clinic sees approximately 36,000 patients per annum and services the population of the Porirua basin.
It is staffed by Capital & Coast employed nurses and administrative staff.
The service is an RNZCUC accredited clinic, employs Urgent Care Physicians, and contracts with independent medical staff, linking with local GPs to cover the roster.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following skills/experience:
Registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)Urgent Care Physicians/TraineesGPs confident in Urgent CareAbility to work independentlySet and maintain consistently high standards of medical careRelevant training and experienceCapital, Coast and Hutt Valley district is located centrally in Wellington and has over 6,000 full-time equivalent staff, making us one of the major employers in the Wellington region.
We operate three hospitals - Wellington Regional Hospital in Newtown, Hutt Valley Hospital, and Kenepuru Hospital in Porirua - as well as the Kapiti Health Centre at Paraparaumu.
