This client is seeking either a senior Registered Nurse Manager or a leader with a Bioscience degree background who can use their previous Clinical research experiences to hold a dual role - being Unit Manager and Study coordinator. This company has an established history in the field of research, being well respected and valued nationally. With an exciting new management team to align with, this role will allow you to work with pace, but in an uplifting relaxed environment. As a new facility, you will have the opportunity to play a part in the establishment of it with a network of peers to help you. Avoid the commute or commute against the traffic in this South Auckland location.
What you have to do: Be part of the research management team, with oversight of the units staffing and facility resources.Provide leadership to the clinical team, optimising their performance and potential.Work to specified study protocols and defined clinical trial processes.Be the key point of contact within the unit for key stakeholders.Recruitment of patients, monitoring and updating databases of potential patients for clinical trials.Have predictable work patterns.Culture & Benefits: Monday to Friday core business hours (Choose 36-40 hrs/week).Friendly positive motivated clinical team to work with, enjoyable work environment.Work at pace, but never pressured, not desk bound, be a hands-on Manager.Salary $110 - 115K.Family friendly working environment, flexibility with hours.Southern Cross Insurance on offer.What you have to have: Hold NZ Nursing registration with current APC or a Bioscience Degree.Previous clinical research experience as a Study Coordinator.Proven ability to lead a team of health professionals.Excellent written and verbal communication with clear speech.Proficiency in IT is essential, including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.Attention to detail.Showcase your leadership skills and knowledge in this valuable clinical research unit, step into your dream role, whilst maintaining a connection to studies and leading a team.
