Look no further… Compass Group are looking for a Scott Base Unit Manager, in ANTARCTICA. This Fixed Term position runs from the start of July until one week after returning from Antarctica late March.We are on the hunt for the best. We want an experienced, inspirational, innovative, and fun person to manage and drive our business across our bar, convenience, souvenir, and retail offers. Our ideal candidate has a passion filled heart but a cool hand when needed, and a passion and belief in health, safety and the wellbeing of themselves and others. Our store and bar operate 7 days, this position requires the applicant to live onsite and work 6 days (52 hours) a week while deployed in Antarctica. The position does require the applicant to work in Burnham (20km south of Hornby, Christchurch) from July until deployment in October.Current services include:Scott Base Store - our store stocks convenience items, phone cards, souvenirs, and gift items.Scott Base Bar - the bar is open every evening and staffed by the applicant with assistance from volunteers who hold other positions at Scott BaseBurnham Store - This is our convenience store based in Burnham.
