Working autonomously as well as part of a dynamic team, you will gain and expand your experience and knowledge of underground mining whilst working an attractive even time roster. Rotating 7 days on, 7 days off (Dayshift/Nightshift).Key tasks and responsibilities:Perform a range of preventative and breakdown maintenance tasks on mining equipment including Loaders, Development/Production Drills, Haul Trucks and Ancillary Plant and Equipment.Ensure all equipment is mechanically and electronically maintained in accordance with company and site policies and procedures.Complete scheduled tasks and service inspections as planned to a high standard of quality which maintains the integrity of the equipment and does not compromise safety.Maintain legible and accurate maintenance records and documentation.Source technical information from the relevant OEM manuals, technical bulletins, and service documentation.Actively promote, seek out and participate in drives that will lead to improvements in safety, productivity, and cost effectiveness.Qualifications:Mechanical Trade Qualification.Experience working on Heavy Mobile Plant.Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in hydraulic systems and electrical circuits.Excellent communication skills.A full and current Driver Licence with the ability to drive manual vehicles.Additional InformationLifestyle: Rotating 7 days on, 7 days off (Dayshift/Nightshift).Southern Cross Health Insurance + Gym Membership.OceanaGold is committed to providing equal employment opportunities.
