It is the lead school for the Tukituki RTLB Cluster (cluster 23) and is part of the Nga Hau e Wha Kahui Ako. Our school has been on a transformational journey over the last 10 years. During this time we have thought deeply about giving effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through developing: Effective partnerships with whanau, hapu, iwi, Pacific fono, and the wider hapori. Culturally sustaining teaching practices reinforced with current pedagogy. An excellent strategy to grow the use of te reo me tikanga o Ngati Kahungunu amongst our staff and students. Redesigning our curriculum to be place-based learning and centred in Kahungunutanga.
