Add expected salary to your profile for insights.North Tugz Ltd provides Marine Services to Northport and Channel Infrastructure at Marsden Point, New Zealand.We are looking for a suitably qualified individual to join the Tug Engineer roster to help provide safe and efficient Marine Services to our customers.Key responsibilitiesTo act as Engineer on company vessels.To help support the Master with providing safe and efficient Harbour Towage.To assist the Senior Engineer maintaining vessels as per planned maintenance system.Conduct safety training and emergency drills.Operate vessels adhering to company procedures and local regulations.The ideal candidate will have:A minimum qualification of MEC 4.
Candidates holding lower tickets may be considered based on experience and skill.Demonstrated experience in the Marine Industry.A can do, positive attitude with a willingness to learn.Ability to work well in a team and promote safety.Electrical experience would be advantageous.Familiarity with New Zealand maritime regulations.A high level of professionalism and good time management.Experience maintaining vessels as per a planned maintenance system.If you think this role may be for you, please apply through Seek before Monday 20th January 2025.Closing date may be brought forward should a suitable candidate be found prior.
