They manage every step of the production process, from yarn extrusion to recycling end-of-life products, ensuring innovation and top-quality surfaces. As a Tufting Mechanic, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, reliable operation of all tufting machinery and equipment, supporting the safe and efficient production of high-quality synthetic grass.
Key Responsibilities:
Planned Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for tufting machines, minimizing downtime and managing critical parts inventory.
Breakdown Repairs: Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns promptly, minimizing downtime and recommending preventive measures.
Production Support: Assist operators with machine setups, contribute to process improvements, and commission new equipment as needed.
Health & Safety & Team Collaboration: Ensure equipment safety, support incident investigations, and collaborate with the Production Manager and engineering team to meet production needs.
Requirements:
Experience with machinery maintenance and repair
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Commitment to health and safety standards
To be successful in this role, you will have:
At least 3 years relevant work experience in a similar role with machinery maintenance and repair
Strong attention to detail with excellent technical skills.
Ability to work independently with great time management.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
Have clean police report with no charges pending.
