About the role This role entails the transportation of goods in a safe, accurate and timely manner, and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements. A Driver is part of our large Supply Chain team all working together to Feed the South Island. The hours for this role: Friday – Monday 13:00-23:30 (40hrs per week)
Key Accountabilities include:
Consistently follow all Health and Safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Deliver all goods loaded onto your vehicle within the expected timeframe providing a courteous and efficient service to both internal and external clients.
Ensure accurate correspondence of freight and paperwork.
Set correct temperatures on all loaded units according to requirements.
Use and operate machinery, equipment, and vehicles safely and treat them with respect.
Keep work areas (docks, trailers, staging areas) clean and organized.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
Supports the purpose, vision, and values of FSSI.
Quickly identifies issues in own work and can generate creative and practical solutions.
Takes an interest in new ideas and new ways of doing things.
Has DC operations knowledge.
