Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support)Te Tii (Waitangi) B3 Trust is an ahu whenua trust, administering Maori freehold land, a commercial and substantial residential portfolio, located in beautiful Waitangi, Bay of Islands.You can find out more about us at  www.tetiiwaitangi.co.nzWe are looking for a dynamic and experienced person to join our team as Trust Administrator .In this role you will be working closely with the Trust Chairperson, ensuring timely support to the Board. You will be based in our Trust Office in Waitangi, initially for 4 days per week, with the opportunity to move to full time as the role develops.The RoleDay-to-day running of the Trust OfficeHigh level secretarial support to the Board, including meeting preparation and minute taking for monthly and annual meetings.Administering Trust communications to beneficiaries using standard and digital media platforms.Providing compliance, financial and/or strategic advice during and outside of meetings.Assist in ensuring the Trust follows the provisions of the Trust Order, Te Ture Whenua Act 1993, and other regulatory requirements.A full job description can be supplied on request.Key AttributesProven advanced secretarial skills and extensive administrative experience.Accounting knowledge and experience with Xero.Advanced user in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of BoardPro software.Display strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.Confidence in the importance of systems and processesSome knowledge of the Te Reo and Te Ao Maori would be an advantage.We offer a friendly, and supportive working environment, flexible working hours with excellent remuneration.
