Aoraki Legal 2018 Limited – Timaru, South Island
Aoraki Legal has an exciting opportunity available for a full-time Trust Account/Legal Administrator. The successful applicant will assist with the management of the client trust account along with general administration support. Duties will be varied, and the role would ideally suit a self-composed individual who has a positive and proactive attitude. Prior experience in trust accounting or law office experience would be ideal but not essential.

Selection Criteria / Key Responsibilities:
Proven experience and expertise in accounts and administration work. Prior trust account or legal experience and familiarity with accounting and/or legal practice management software beneficial but not essential.
Processing, balancing and reconciling the client trust accounts on a daily and monthly basis, and assist with preparation of monthly New Zealand Law Society reports.
Administration and account support to individual client trust accounts, including client interest-bearing accounts.
Preparation and processing of banking transactions and transfers in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Preparation of client invoices and trust statements, management of account renders and debt collection.
Recording and filing of client Deeds.
