We're looking for a skilled Trust Account Administrator to take the lead on managing our client accounts. In this role, you'll be processing transactions, overseeing trust and interest-bearing deposit accounts, and ensuring compliance with all legal regulations and company policies. You will also play a key role in providing reports to ensure Trust account hygiene.
This is a critical position that contributes to the integrity and efficiency of our financial Trust account processes.

You'll be exposed to a broad spectrum of work including:
Administer trust accounts, including processing payments, deposits, and transfers in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Complete day and month end processes.
Email monthly balances and audit certificates to authors and complete Infinitylaw month end report.
Prepare and send all Trust account Fastnet Banking transactions.
Provide back-up to the Finance Administrator role.
Accurately input write offs and bank interest as required.
Prepare electronic settlements and arrange for authorisation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded properly. Ensure Trust Account Hygiene processes are maintained.
Monitor and manage trust account balances, ensuring adequate funds are available for disbursement, managing investment bearing deposit accounts.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies regarding trust account management.
Support the team in preparing for audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance trust account management processes.
Stay informed about changes in trust account regulations and best practices.
Issue clients annual Trust account and IBD statements.
Issue annual Resident Withholding Tax certificates.
About You
At least 3 years of experience in trust account management, financial administration, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of trust account regulations and legal requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent attention to detail.
Personable and approachable: strong client relationships are essential and one of the foundations of the success of Govett Quilliam.
