Our client, a leading private legal firm, is seeking an experienced Trust Account Administrator to provide transactional support, ensure compliance, and facilitate client onboarding.

The Role
Based in the Dunedin office, you'll manage the trust account and billing processes while ensuring compliance with Trust Accounting Guidelines, policies, and procedures. Reporting to the Business Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Completing daily trust account transactions and reconciliations.
Preparation of the firm's billings and providing debtor control with authors.
Issuing invoices and statements, and following up on payments.
AML compliance support, including due diligence and account monitoring.
Receipt, journal, banking, and business account support.
About You
This role suits a composed individual with a proactive, adaptable, and organised approach. While experience with Infinity legal software and financial data processing is a plus, it's not essential. Banking, legal, or accounting experience is ideal, though full training will be provided. Key qualifications include:
Previous experience in trust/property account administration and invoicing.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in accounts software and MS Office.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
