Hamilton is one of New Zealand's fastest-growing cities, located in the heart of the North Island, only a 1.5-hour drive from Auckland.Remuneration and rewardsYou will be joining a large, well established franchise truck group where there is plenty of room for growth.Wage rates are market related ($35-$43 per hour), further training is on offer, the company culture is fun, and the work conditions are top notch.This is a full time, permanent role offering a minimum of 40 hours per week.The role and skills soughtYou will be based out of a well equipped workshop with access to the latest equipment.You must have a relevant automotive trade qualification and proven, post-apprenticeship experience working on heavy road transport/commercial trucks.Your role will involve maintenance, servicing, as well as major and minor repairs - you must be able to perform these duties without supervision.Diagnostics will also form part of your role, so solid diagnostics skills are a must.If you have further training on truck brands, this is advantageous.You must also have a stable employment history, good communication skills, and be able to work well in a team.How to applyApplications from those wanting to relocate from elsewhere within NZ are welcome.
