Hamilton is one of New Zealand's fastest-growing cities, located in the heart of the North Island, only a 1.5-hour drive or bus ride from Auckland.Remuneration and rewardsYou will be joining a large, well established franchise truck group with plenty of room for growth.Wage rates are market related ($35-$40 per hour), further training is on offer, and the company culture is fun with top-notch work conditions.This is a full-time, permanent role offering a minimum of 40 hours per week.The role and skills soughtYou will be based out of a well-equipped workshop and will have access to the latest equipment.You must have a relevant automotive trade qualification and proven, post-apprenticeship experience working on heavy road transport/commercial trucks.Your role will involve maintenance, servicing, as well as major and minor repairs, which you must be able to perform without supervision.Diagnostics will also form part of your role, so solid diagnostics skills are a must.If you have further training on truck brands, this is advantageous.You must also have a stable employment history, good communication skills, and be able to work well in a team.How to applyApplications from those wanting to relocate from elsewhere within NZ are welcome.
