Truck Driver Job – Full time permanent roleHarvest Truck Driver - Fairfield Orchards - Class 5Description: We're looking for an experienced Class 5 Truck Driver to join our team at Fairfield Orchards in Riwaka – Motueka.
This is a permanent full-time role.You will be our main driver, responsible for transporting fruit from our orchards to the packhouse and cool stores using a Class 5 truck and trailer during the busy harvest season between February and July.
This is a crucial role that ensures our fruit is delivered efficiently and safely.During the off season, the role changes.
You will still be driving our trucks but you may be transporting machinery or constructions materials.
On the days there is no truck driving, you will help us with other duties that will take advantage of your skills and experience in other areas.You'll need forklift experience to assist with loading.Some Saturday work required.Skills & experience:Proven experience in class 5 truck driving.Ability to operate a forklift for loading and unloading.Excellent time management and communication skillsStrong safety knowledgeRequirements: You will need to have, at minimum, your Class 5 license.All applicants will need to have photo ID and proof they are eligible to work in NZ.If you have a passion for horticulture, and are after a challenging andrewarding role, we encourage your application.
