Truck Driver Position title: Truck Driver Rate of Pay: From $29.66 to $30.00 per hour Minimum guaranteed hours of work: 30 hours per week Location of the job: Auckland Truck Drivers | Company: Taj Logistics Limited | Location: Auckland |Type Full time, Permanent. We are seeking a reliable and committed Truck Driver to join our team based in Auckland. The duties of this position are: -          Relevant one year of work experience or relevant qualification -          Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading. -          Loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices -          Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles -          Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely. -          Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight. -          Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage. -          Verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods, and obtaining certification of deliveries -          Must have geographical knowledge of the region -          Applicant should be physically fit. -          Must have valid Class 4/5 license -          Valid driver's license -          Mandatory criminal check -          Mandatory drug test -          Must consent to mandatory police check Applicant must be able to do flexible working hours, including weekends, late nights and Public Holidays as the role requires.
