Truck Driver - Class 5

Skills Required:HT LicenceProof of eligibility to work in New ZealandWe're looking for a Class 5 Truck Driver to join our team.
We are offering a fixed-term but full-time seasonal role from late February to June.The role varies significantly between the harvest season and the off-season, offering a dynamic work environment.During the Busy Harvest Season: You will be responsible for transporting fruit from our orchards to the packhouse using a Class 5 truck and trailer.
This is a crucial role that ensures our fruit is delivered efficiently and safely.
You'll need forklift experience to assist with loading.During the Off-Season: The role becomes more varied.
You may find yourself moving heavy equipment, construction materials, or other items across our various properties.
Additionally, you might take on workshop duties, operate machinery, or assist with other tasks.
We can tailor the role to suit your skills and interests.Skills & Experience:Proven experience in class 5 truck driving.Ability to operate a forklift to assist with loading and unloading.Excellent time management and communication skills.Strong safety knowledge.Requirements: You will need to have your Class 5 license.
All applicants will need to have photo ID and proof they are eligible to work in NZ.Fairfield Orchards Ltd is a progressive horticultural operation specializing in pip-fruit and kiwifruit with properties around the Riwaka and Motueka area.
Our integrated operation ensures growing, cool storage, and packaging are performed onsite.
