Purpose:As part of our growth strategy, Mountain club are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Travel & Experience Specialist to design, plan, and deliver bespoke, high-end experiences for Mountain Club members and their guests, ensuring exceptional quality, attention to detail, and alignment with Mountain Club's reputation for excellence.Reporting to the Head of Events and Experiences, this role is based in Queenstown, NZ, and involves hands-on management of experience logistics, client and supplier coordination, and serving as the primary point of contact for guests during experiences.About Mountain Club:Mountain Club is a global members club that bridges the gap between the world's trailblazers and the breathtaking backdrop of Queenstown.
By blending meaningful connection with curated experiences, events and venues, we create an environment where people thrive and businesses grow.Key Responsibilities:Design Bespoke Experiences:Develop personalised itineraries tailored to member preferences, incorporating unique and exclusive offerings to create unforgettable experiences.Identify opportunities to innovate and expand the Mountain Club Experience portfolio to attract and retain high-value members.Client and Member Engagement:Act as the primary point of contact for all Mountain Club Experience inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional communication.Build and nurture relationships with members to understand their needs and exceed their expectations.Supplier Relationships:Develop and maintain partnerships with premium service providers, including luxury accommodation, transport, and activity providers across Queenstown and New Zealand.Assist Head of Events & Experiences in negotiating favourable terms with suppliers and ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.Logistics Management:Coordinate all logistics for bespoke experiences, including transportation, accommodation, dining, and activities, ensuring seamless execution.Address real-time issues during the delivery of experiences to maintain the highest level of service.Wider Events & Experiences Team Involvement:Flexibility Across Roles: Step into additional tasks, such as event preparation or member-facing interactions, during peak periods or when additional support is needed to ensure seamless operations.Collaborative Support: Provide input or assistance on team projects, such as brainstorming new event or experience concepts, or contributing to shared departmental initiatives.Continuous Improvement:Gather feedback from members and suppliers to identify opportunities for refinement and innovation.Stay updated on trends in luxury travel and experiences to keep Mountain Club's offerings competitive and unique.Skills and Experience:Proven experience in luxury travel, high-end hospitality, or concierge services.Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building trust and rapport with high-net-worth individuals.A network of relationships with premium service providers in Queenstown and New Zealand.Exceptional knowledge of Queenstown's offerings including accommodation, activities etc.Ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes effectively.Familiarity with relevant management software (e.g.
Tourwriter) and tools is an advantage.Experience in basic financial administration (e.g., processing invoices, managing smaller budgets)A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a commitment to excellence in event delivery.
