We are looking for four (4) Travel Consultants at Medasani Limited T/A Eco Travels to work full-time in Auckland.
Travel Consultants are expected to work a minimum of 30 hours a week with a weekly payroll. Hours are rostered on a weekly basis and might include weekend shifts.
Payrate : ($23-$23.90)
Job Role and Responsibilities:
1. Give advice to passengers on travel or holiday plans accommodation transport and placesof interest.
2. Prepare Itineraries issue tickets and collect payments.
3. Should advise passengers about their baggage allowance visa and other requirements asper their itinerary.
4. Should assist clients with procedures for dealing with lost or stolen documents on theirflight.
5. Book accommodation transport tours and cruises.
6. Basic knowledge to advise clients about passports insurance and other documentsrequired to travel.
7. Advice passengers about special deals and interest-free options for payments.
Qualifications & Experience
Tertiary level 7 qualification in tourism or management (or) More than four years of relevant work experience.
You will be expected to communicate with people not so fluent in English as we have a very diverse multicultural base.
Excellent knowledge of the latest tourism trends.
knowledge of GDS software used in the travel industry.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
