We are looking for four (4) Travel Consultants at Medasani Limited T/A Eco Travels to work full-time in Auckland.
Travel Consultants are expected to work a minimum of 30 hours a week with a weekly payroll. Hours are rostered on a weekly basis and might include weekend shifts.
Payrate: ($23-$23.50)
Job Role and Responsibilities:
Give advice to passengers on travel or holiday plans, accommodation, transport, and places of interest.
Prepare itineraries, issue tickets, and collect payments.
Advise passengers about their baggage allowance, visa, and other requirements as per their itinerary.
Assist clients with procedures for dealing with lost or stolen documents on their flight.
Book accommodation, transport, tours, and cruises.
Advise passengers about special deals and interest-free options for payments.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum bachelor's in Travel and Tourism is a MUST.
5+ years of work experience in hospitality and travel.
Excellent knowledge of the latest tourism trends.
Knowledge of GDS software used in the travel industry.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
