Join our clients team as an Intermediate or Senior Transport Planner in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, where you'll spearhead transformative transport planning projects and make a real impact on both private and public sectors. Here's what your role entails:
Lead and execute multiple Transport Planning projects for their valued clients, spanning diverse infrastructure endeavours.
Offer expert technical guidance on various transport planning and engineering facets, including but not limited to business cases, seamless integration of land use and transport, engaging stakeholders and the public, economic evaluations, in-depth analyses, impactful assessments, design considerations, public transport enhancements, and strategic planning.
Provide strategic counsel to clients regarding transport infrastructure, network designs catering to active, public, freight, and private vehicle modes.
Conduct thorough traffic impact assessments to inform project decisions effectively.
Conduct comprehensive analyses to support business cases and other essential studies, ensuring robust project outcomes.
Oversee concurrent projects seamlessly through all project phases, ensuring successful delivery while contributing to strategic transport advisory initiatives.
Foster collaboration opportunities with colleagues from diverse disciplines within the company, driving innovation and excellence.
Cultivate new business avenues and enhance profitability by nurturing existing client relationships and fostering new ones.
Cultivate robust external client relationships, actively contributing to the strategic expansion of the transportation planning sector by identifying and seizing relevant business prospects.
Our ideal candidate brings 3 - 12 years of consultancy experience, along with:
A pertinent tertiary qualification.
Proficiency in transport planning, urban planning, placemaking, business case development, and transport assessments.
Proven track record of navigating public and/or private sector projects.
Exceptional project management skills across project life cycles.
Stellar interpersonal and communication abilities to liaise effectively with stakeholders across the board.
Strong analytical prowess and problem-solving acumen.
