We are looking for talented and passionate individuals to join our business and be part of our success.Our OpportunityWe currently have an opportunity for a Transport Planner within our North Island team, who will have responsibility to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of GFNZ's freight volumes as guided by our Transport Strategy. In order to achieve this, your key responsibilities will include : From data created by production sites, ensure each load is manifested accurately and above minimum utilization levels Communicate to production sites and transport providers load allocations for both inbound and outbound loads Monitor, record and report actual utilisation versus target levels Participate in the investigation of negative and positive variances including identifying opportunities for reducing / eliminating cost About YouIn order to make this role a success, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate the previous experience and skillsets : Transport / Logistics experience within an FMCG environment Strong stakeholder management skills, including maintaining supplier and vendor relationships Comfortable in dealing with data and some exposure to modelling would be useful as the team transforms Knowledge of NZ Road Transport Law Experience of working with a Transport Management System Food Safety Knowledge What we offerYou will be joining a driven team of professionals who love food, have fun and genuinely enjoy working together, resulting in a highly collaborative environment.
