The Planner/Dispatcher role is pivotal to our Company. This position involves coordinating and scheduling trucks to uplift and deliver loads, ensuring the best overall utilisation of the fleet coupled with minimum cost of distribution, while solving the myriads of problems that can occur along the way.
Key aspects of the role include:
Managing run/route optimisation, ensuring trucks and loads are utilised for maximum efficiency
Plan and coordinate daily truck movements for the fleet
Dispatching job details to driver PTD's
Monitor the status of the fleet in real-time, and adjust as needed
Communicate with drivers to provide instructions and updates
Communicate with logging crews, customers & suppliers
Maintain detailed records of all deliveries and fleet activities
Ensure our Health & Safety policies and procedures are prioritised and adhered to

Experience in general transport logistics, forestry, health & safety and IT would be an advantage, however training will be provided to the successful candidate.
This position can be either Full time, or a Job Share (30 hours per week). Excellent remuneration based on skills & experience, hours of work and ASAP start date by negotiation.
