Transport Manager

We are a trucking company contracting with Woolworths and are looking to hire a TransportManager to handle the operations of our company.You will be required to work a minimum of 32 hours/week and maximum 40. This jobrequires working on some weekends. You may need to be on-call on some occasions. Youmust have a full and clean driver's licence. You may be requested to provide a clean policerecord.We are looking for someone who is--        Reliable and hardworking.-        Team player who is confident and honest.-        Has excellent personal presentation and punctuality.- Has attention to detail Qualification/Work ExperienceTo be successful you must have at least a diploma qualification inbusiness/management/logistics or OR relevant work experience of at least 3 years.
Your daily task will include-
- Organize the purchase and maintenance of vehicles, equipment, fuel.- Plan and implement schedules of loading vehicles in the morning.- Manage rosters.- Coordinate advertising, hiring, training, and performance of drivers.- Ensure drivers load the vehicles safely and adequately.- Maintaining records, time sheets, invoices, other financial documents etc.- Resolve complaints from staff and escalate matters when required.- Ensure drivers and staff comply with all safety regulations.
