Transport & Container Team Leader

We are seeking a dynamic Transport & Container Team Leader to join our team at our brand new warehouse in Rolleston. Ideally you will come from a transport or logistics background which will make the transition easy so that you can hit the ground running. The role is a mixture of transport and container operations, so if you like a bit of variety in your day, have leadership experience, then this role is perfect for you. You will be active on the ground making sure that all the team complete all their daily activities and duties to ensure provision of efficient and professional services to clients. Our teams strive to be "Best in Class".Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 3:30 pmAbout the role:Supervise and lead the team to ensure all daily tasks are completedEnsure all DC delivery bookings are ready and loaded for deliveryEnsure accurate and timely loading of freightReport daily on undelivered or delayed freight to the relevant departmentVerify the completeness and accuracy of documentation for customs clearanceOversee and coordinate customs clearance processes for both imports and exportsAssist in providing training and development opportunities for team membersAbout you:Minimum of 2 years experience in a forklift role | team leading roleCurrent forklift OSH or counterbalance license - long fork and slipsheet experience preferredMPI Accredited (advantageous)Familiar with the Multipick WMSWhat we can offer you:Membership to the Cardinal Perks Program (discounts with some of NZ's major retailers)Life insuranceTeam eventsOngoing mentoring and trainingIf the above sounds like you, do not hesitate and apply now!
