The role Reporting to the Branch Manager, our Transport and Logistic's Co-ordinator is responsible for ensuring our customers receive a high degree of customer service via an efficient well organised transport division. Day to day, in a dynamic fast paced environment, you will be the first point of contact with our team of Customer Service Officers (CSO) to provide and co-ordinate delivery schedules to ensure the maximisation of our transport capacity and meet customer expectations. As a secondary part of the role, you will support our CSO's to liaise with our customers' managing in and outbound calls providing timely advice and solutions to meet their hire equipment needs.
What we are looking for You will have experience in a transport delivery environment, ideally with proven experience in working within a busy, fast paced workshop/dispatching/transport or trades environment. A working knowledge of excavators and/or working knowledge of excavator attachments and/or a class 2 licence would also be advantageous. You will enjoy working alongside your team to ensure that customer service is at the forefront of everything we do. Your experience ideally will include planning, scheduling and inventory/equipment management. You will be an excellent communicator with sound computer skills and high attention to detail. Hours of work are 7am – 5pm Monday to Friday with rostered Saturday shifts 8am – 12pm (every 5/6 weeks) overtime is payable.
