Your Responsibilities

Working in an administrative role in a fast-paced environment at times
Ability to plan/schedule Drivers and vehicles efficiently and effectively to support the Transport Manager
Geographical knowledge would be an advantage or willingness to learn on the job
Ability to handle a high volume of telephone calls
Checking lorry movements via a tracking system
Liaising with drivers & customers
Downloading Tachograph information
Speaking with customers re arrival times
Driving licence checks
Record keeping, filing and maintaining vehicle files
Assisting with audit preparation such as FORS
Helping to ensure that we comply with DVSA/DVLA licence regulations at all times
WORKING HOURS PER WEEK
40 hours per week

Required Skills
General administration skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
Attention to detail
Good organisation skills
Computer literate (ability to use Microsoft Excel/Word is essential)

Comfortable working on own initiative
Ability to organise and prioritise work

Required Qualifications
Maths and English at grade C/4 or above is preferable
