This role will demand a high level of integrity and focus on safety and quality while achieving on-time completion of projects and hitting financial targets. The role We are excited to offer a rewarding role for a Transmission Lines Supervisor to join our Transmission team in Hamilton. In this role, you will provide technical support and oversee the successful delivery of contracting projects from start to finish, including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling. This role will report to the Construction Delivery Manager. Being the Lines Supervisor, you will also be responsible for:

Ensure projects are completed on time and budget
Support estimating, scoping and reviewing work methods
Support handover and closeout meetings
Support the planning jobs, including risk evaluation and safety considerations
Reviewing materials, plant, contractors and labour against work scope and schedule
Visit sites to monitor progress, scope compliance and workmanship quality
Complete and return field documentation
Take part in job reviews and identify improvements
Support staff development of your team

Our Ideal candidate Ideally, you will have experience with the Transpower Network or High Voltage Industry, a background in Electrical Installation with NZ EWRB registration and strong organisational skills. You should be able to manage your workload, deliver positive results and understand supervision and regulatory responsibilities. Additionally, possessing the following would be beneficial:

Proven supervisory experience in the Transmission Lines industry.
National Certificate in Electricity Supply (Level 4/5)
E2 or TLM qualification
Current practising licence with knowledge of Codes of Practice, Policies, Standards and Safety Manual
HT licence (desirable)
NZ Driving Licence (class 1)
Live line
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to organise and self-manage workload
Ensure HSQE compliance and promote safety culture
Basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Integrity, consistency and customer focus
