KEY DELIVERABLES OF THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of live/de-energised conductors, hardware, and structures used in the National Transmission Grid, including as required the erection, repair, and/or dismantling of assets. You will follow work to all and safety procedures as well as statutory requirements.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a minimum 40 hours a week guaranteed. This role is based in Wellington and will be working across the Wellington Region. This role will be paying between $35 to $40 NZD an hour.

ABOUT YOU – Required Skills and Competencies

Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Transmission Lines work in New Zealand or overseas an advantage

Must hold an EWRB Line Mechanic Trainee Limited Certificate

Testing and Electrical Safety.

First Aid and CPR

Experience climbing transmission towers and or similar.

Valid driver's license and experience driving appropriate vehicles on all roads, terrain, and weather conditions; Heavy truck license preferred.

Excellent attitude to SHEQ.

Physically fit especially with regards to heavy lifting, stretching, and climbing.

Comfortability with working at heights.
