Access to VentiaPerks as well as HealthEssentials Plan with Southern Cross KEY DELIVERABLES OF THE ROLE In this role you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of live/de-energised conductors, hardware, and structures used in the National Transmission Grid, including as required the erection, repair, and/or dismantling of assets. You will follow work to all safety procedures as well as statutory requirements. ABOUT YOU – Required Skills and Competencies EWRB registered level 4 certified transmission line mechanic (Advantageous). Testing and Electrical Safety. First Aid and CPR Experience climbing transmission towers and or similar. Valid driver's license and experience driving appropriate vehicles on all roads, terrain, and weather conditions; Heavy truck license preferred. Excellent attitude to SHEQ. Physically fit especially with regards to heavy lifting, stretching, and climbing. Comfortability with working at heights.
