This is a full-time, permanent role at minimum 40 hours a week, 7am – 3.30pm

KEY DELIVERABLES OF THE ROLE In this role you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of conductors, hardware and structures used in the National Grid, including as required the erection, repair and/or dismantling of these assets while showing a high level of safety culture.
ABOUT YOU – Required Skills and Competencies
EWRB registered level 4 certified transmission line mechanic (Advantageous).
Testing and Electrical Safety.
First Aid and CPR.
Experience climbing transmission towers and/or similar.
Valid driver's license and experience driving appropriate vehicles on all roads, terrain, and weather conditions; Heavy truck license preferred.
Excellent attitude to SHEQ.
Physically fit especially with regards to heavy lifting, stretching, and climbing.
Comfortable with working at heights; Live line qualification advantageous but not necessary.
