Insight Endometriosis is using Canva to translate resources into other languages and recruits volunteers to proofread these translations, ensuring the translation is accurate. The Translations Team Leader supports this work by overseeing the Translator Proofreader Volunteers, assigning projects and supporting them to use Canva to make any necessary edits. The team leader works with volunteers to resolve any cultural sensitivity issues, and keeps volunteers up to date with Insight Endometriosis's translation project goals and timeframes of when their proofreading services will be required again. Requirements We are looking for someone with experience in staff/volunteer supervision, leading a team, and/or overseeing project teams. We require someone who can work to set deadlines. The role is remote and requires an own computer/laptop, with internet access as well as the ability to learn how to use our online work management system. Honest and reliable, with the ability to ensure and maintain confidentiality. Able to maintain accurate, legible, and timely records. Tech savvy and confident in learning new systems. Access to email, text, phone, and internet. Time Commitment To fit in with personal commitments, 30-60 minutes a week ensuring contact with volunteers to coordinate their project work.
