Transitions Leader

Te Paepae o Aotea is looking for a forward-thinking leader with a growth mindset and student-centered focus, passionate about helping students prepare for their futures.
We're looking for a transitions leader with vision and expertise to oversee pathways education and programmes in our school and community.
In this role, you will work with the Tumuaki and Leader of Learning:
developing plans for the school
assessing and procuring resources for the school
transitioning students and staff
designing and developing a localised curriculum for the school.
Additionally, you will be someone who can:
engage effectively with key external stakeholders to develop and enhance relationships to grow and maintain high-quality pathway opportunities for our students
coordinate the Gateway, STAR and WITT programmes
teach Gateway
liaise with outside agencies, organising work experience and overseeing the careers programme.
You will work closely with our Gateway/STAR Administrator to coordinate and manage placement of students in work experience, setting learning goals and coordinating achievement with students, providers, and employers.
Your ability to grow awareness of Gateway in our community and maintain good relationships with employers will make you a standout.
This position will commence term 1, 2025.
