Mo te kaupapa - About The Salvation Army Transitional Housing: Our transitional housing programmes provide safe short-term accommodation for whanau in need of long-term accommodation.
While in the service, whanau are supported by skilled professionals to address their immediate needs, provide wrap-around supports, and look at opportunities available to them.
Mo te turanga - About the role: The role of the Transitional Housing Property Coordinator position is to: Advance the mission of The Salvation Army Effectively provide property services for the transitional houses and occupants of the properties.
Support procurement and retention of properties for transitional housing Provide practical support and coordination for occupants entering and transitioning out of the transitional housing properties Ensure houses are clean, well maintained, and provide a welcoming environment for occupants Key relationships will be with Community Ministries Manager, Social Workers, Landlords, local contractors, and the wider team at Salvation Army Kapiti Corps & Community Ministries.

Hours of work: Permanent full-time, 40 hours per week.
The starting salary for this role will fall between $57,000 and $67,000.
