We are seeking a dedicated Transformer Field Service Technician to join our team, reporting directly to the Technical and Sales Operations Manager. This role is pivotal to our operations and will undertake technical assessments and repairs of ETEL Transformers both onsite and in the factory as well as provide warranty support to ETEL Customers in New Zealand, Australia and Singapore. What You'll Do: Support – conduct warranty investigations into customer complaints as well as conduct site assessments of transformers in the fieldRepairs – conduct warranty repairs both onsite and in houseReporting – provide warranty repair reports for customers after repairs have been completedCommissioning – provide customer support for onsite testing and commissioning as requiredCollaboration and Communication – liaise with customers and ETEL for warranty repairs and queries as well as liaise between the different departments at ETEL to solve issues related to Customer queries or to solve test failures and warranty repairs. What You'll Need: Electrical trade certification along with onsite works experience essentialPrevious experience in transformer design and fault finding Excellent written and verbal communication An intermediate level of computer literacyConfidence to work under pressure to resolve operational day to day issuesA proactive, positive approach and a passion for improving the way things are doneKnowledge and understanding of OH&S practicesPrevious experience in a manufacturing industry highly regarded Must be able to travel both locally and internationally as and when required So, what's in it for you?
