The Team: What we do
Our General Surgery Administrator team provides a high level of service to customers, staff, and whanau. We deliver administration needs to the service areas in a timely manner and support the Front of House reception with cover when required.
As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim settlement, this role has been mapped to National Band 3/Profile 3.
The Role: Where you fit in
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Transcribing letters and doctors' notes
Ensuring all information is collated, patient records are complete and managed
Various administration tasks
Providing excellent customer service
Clinic Management Support
Reception cover as required
Various other tasks as determined by the Service

Your skills will include:
Experienced customer care skills with the ability to go above and beyond
Ability to remain calm under pressure
The ability to manage multiple priorities
Technically savvy - quick at picking up new applications/systems
Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work unsupervised
Intermediate to advanced user in the Microsoft suite of products (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel)
